Gungo Walk is a festival that has in its DNA, a creative blueprint for the development of Creative Industries in Jamaica. This all-inclusive event taps into the many creative arts expressions that are making strong impact in niche markets, providing them with a unified outlet and market.
Reggae and Dancehall are recognized as the lifeblood of the Jamaican Entertainment and Creative Industry and yet they feed from the folk, alternative and experimental music culture of Jamaica. Gungo Walk promotes and gives exposure to them all.
